How often do you change pictures in picture frames?

We have framed pictures (hanging on the wall) of our baby girl and our family. My baby is now 3 years old and I don't know whether I should change the pictures in the frames or I should a buy a new one to display her new pictures. Should I just preserve the framed picture? Thank you.How often do you change pictures in picture frames?
She's going to keep getting older but you're going to want to look at older pictures.

I don't know how many photos you have up now, but thinking to the future, what would look good is something like this:

1 infant (6 months and under)

2 baby (6 months to 2 years)

3 toddler (2-3 years) *tends to be one of the cutest ages for photos*

2 pre-school (3-5 years)

5 elementary school (6-10 years)

1 middle school (11-13 years) *awkward years*

2-3 high school (14-18 years)

That's a total of about 17 photos. You don't want a shrine but you probably do want a pretty good selection.

It might be worthwhile to invest in 20-25 matching photo frames if you can find a good deal (I bumped the number up to include your wedding photos and a few group family photos but it could go higher depending on space). You could put out 10 or so and stick the rest in a closet for later use, adjusting the photos as you go. (Uniform frames tend to look more pulled together). How often do you change pictures in picture frames?
I didn't change them at all, but did put most recent ones on top of them as the kids aged. Did not change frames unless one got broke. The kids know there are lots of pictures in each of their frames and enjoy looking at them when I let them. They can see how they've grown and the changes they've made over the years. Besides, we were military and moved alot and this saved space. Just a thought.
