Is it possible to change a picture that is "Bitmap" type into a "jpg" or "jpeg" type? How is it done?

I need to use the picture in a website, but it only accepts jpg or jpeg pictures.

Easiest way is to just open the file in MS paint.



Menu Start / All programs / Accesoiries / Paint



Open the file there. then %26quot;Save As..%26quot;, in the drop-down box choose %26quot;jpg%26quot;.

Open it up in 'ms paint'

and 'save as'

Well All the people has mentioned very simple way for you

So follow thier's instruction.

That is easy to convert .bmp file in to .jpeg format.



Click 'start' Go to 'All Programs' then 'Accessories' then select 'Paint'



In paint Click 'File' and 'Open' your desired picture

after open the picture in paint

Click 'File' then select 'Save As'

Give the name in name box and select 'jpeg'format from drop down menu box and click 'Save'
